I was just putting the Zed away in the garage when a pair of door knockers appeared on my drive. I said "Don't bother..." but before I finished, they were telling me that they only came over to see the car.

Seems they'd been talking to my friend with the '95 Trans Am about his car and he'd been telling them about my car. They said they'd been a road away when they heard my Camaro storming up the hill and immediately recognised the rumble of the V8 so (temporarily forsaking the Lord) hot-footed it to my driveway. We spent about 20 minutes or so talking about muscle cars and these guys were well into as much power as you can lay your hands on.

Shame, with their enthusiasm, that they don't spend as much time trying to convert people to the way of the muscle car. "OK, we accept that you don't want to know about our religion, but have you ever thought about buying a Z28? Perhaps we could leave some literature..". Hey, we might have still had an F-body!
