'vert is scheduled for inspection and TÜV tomorrow ... hope they won't complain about the sway bars and PH - can't change them back, the old ones were left at Tony's ... ;) (not that I'd want to change back)

not sure, but they could probably spot the difference between the rest of the car and the power-coated SB/PH ... :(

Won't at the test&tunes, it's pretty hard to get all the equipment required in the trunk ;) But I recon our video take (still remember that?) or a cruise meet or something will be the time ;)

Still intersted in making a video tape. We can still do it if everyone is still interested. Just don't know how many people are left here to participate.

Good luck, Garry!
If you don't pass, you'll have to try a different TUeV place... as you said the TUeV appears to be very strict in your area...

Yes, good luck!

I will go to TUEV next week (it already expired in Jan, but, well...),
my new 02s just arrived and I will mount them this weekend.
Then i´ll try.
And I will not go to the "real" TUEV, but to a vehicle expert who may also do the inspections, because i was told he´s "fair"... ;)

Picked up the car this morning - the TÜV guy didn't complain about the SB/PH ... lucked out I guess ... only listed over-aged first aid kit and korroded rotors (which I already have replacements for) ... so ... another 2 years 'till the next inspection ...

Congratulations! But since when does the TUeV complain about the 1st-aid-kits??? And how do they define "overaged", is it because some items that are in NEW kits are missing - (that is no reason, you do not have to update your 1st-aid-kits AFAIK). Or is yours like 20 years old...? ;)

It came through with "geringe Mängel", so no sweat there ... the kit isn't 20 years old, but definitely not too new ... I think it's what I had in one of my Renaults, which means it could be somewhere around 10+ years ... should really replace it sometime ...
