You know exactly what I'm talking about. Am I venting? Probably is being interpreted that way but I'm not. It's just killing me to see so many cars rolling around here w/ this hideous thing.

Honorable mention is the Red Vette LS1. Can somebody slap him please? :fruit: I know to each his own but come on! You are not in the GT class you don't race the thing so why have it on? It sure as hell isn't helping your aerodynamic slip stream either and you don't make enought power for the downforce required to even use that thing!

PS Can I iron my shirt on that thing?

Next up. 85-86 white Jetta. Dude be for real. Are you stowing your luggage on this thing or do have picnics w/ the Mrs's on your lunch break?
You get a double F- for lack in taste and creativity.

Batter up! 95-97 Blk 4dr Honda Accord. He's sporting the carbon fiber version. Now that's mucho money but no one said money equates to intelligence. Some are just dumb lucky. Here's a clue tuff guy. If your wing cost more than the NOS bottle, sticker and fart pipe. Get the latter! At least I know your hamster is taking a shot of juice. Because right now you look like a low powered mobile guillotine.

Oh and last but not least.....92-94 Wht Chevy Cavalier/Sunfire. I know some of you seen this monstrosity. Does he want to be a fbody or a import? I swear the 1st time I say it coming in to me face forward I mistook it for a TA! :-eek: It'll fool ya no lie! Hey dude if ya out there.........quit sniffin the paint thinner ok? That's a disservice to American and Japanese automakers numb nuts. :nono: What were you thinking? Did you think it would be a 1 of a kind? Well you accomplished that that's for sure. It's a 1 of a kind POS! Next time you wanna build something do it on 1/8th scale and store in your closet and save us the eyesore. That's one real cool car doofus. :ok: NOT!

Thankyou for flying Aluminum Airlines. Please stow all your luggage, lunch, and tools in the overwing compartment. Your flight will be departing momentarily we are just awaiting clearance from the top of the hill. Please fasten your seat belts as we are about to push you off the cliff....
Not to worry.......that's what the wing is for.

Now don't get me wrong there are some legit tricked out 4 bangers import and domestic so don't take offense. But if you do fall in that category take offense.

Note: The views and opinions expressed are not the views and opinions of FBE therefore FBE takes no responsiblity in the comments made by said author (s).

When my car is finished I'm gonna attach one to my roof. I'm off the soap box now.

 Thank You!!! Truely THANK YOU!!! I needed that!!! I have not laughed that hard in a while! We have a few winners down here as well. We have an accord, with a wing of course, and an SS hood scoop. Everytime I see it kills me. We got a neon that I believe will be featured in the next 2 Fast 2 Furious Sh#t storm.

Your welcome. I am just trying to bring some entertainment to the board and get a good laugh even though it's true. :)

Post subject:  4 bangers.....

What´s under the hood is all that matters. Not on the trunk.

After joining the 4-cylinder class i realize that most of ´em need to compensate lack of hp with stickaz, wings and fartpipes.

I prefer look stock and engine rock....

BTW: VTECs are cool. It´s awesome fun showing em how loud a 4-banger can be without a 4" piece of stovepipe in behind.

Bless the Quad4, Oldsmobiles answer to JapCrap. Those things really rock.
I just wonder why GM never continued this approach and tried building a 4.6 32V V8????

Thank you Silas for that text  I think exactly the same.
A few days ago I saw an Mazda with a wing almost 50cm high, higher than the roof... and that guy really thought it looks cool...

I agree totally. Pretty soon I wont attract everyone within 50 miles of my newest, when they figure out I'm not trying to join they're ranks.

BTW GM did make one, I believe its called Northstar. Used by the caddy. ZR1 Was a boat motor (Mercury Marine)

It's true, Mercruiser produced the monsters for GM! I remember taking the plant tour, in Bowling Green, back in 1990 and learning about it.

Here is a little more information on the ZR1 built by Mercury Marine. The reason GM had them build it was because of two things. First was their aluminum alloy which Mercury patented. After doing a lot of investigation, GM decided that they have the best alloy available in terms of wear. To use it, they had to have Mercury build the motor. Second was Mercury Marine's experience building high performance, high RPM aluminum motors. Their outboards will run at 6,000 RPM for hours at a time, day after day. That is in the water which is like pulling up a 10-15% grade constantly. That is more stress than a NASCAR stocker has to stand. Just a little more info. They don't even use steel liners for their cylinders. Quite impressive engines.

Please say that this was just a dream. (nightmare) :-eek:
I have to see this thing. :bash: Someone probably told him that it'll go faster on the 'bahn this way. Besides, he has soooo much power that he can spin the tires (or tire) up through 2nd! (then again, anyone can if they got those mickey mouse spares mounted...) :pat:

Be careful, he may embarass you...
Or is it the other way around?
If he does show up, we could have some type of fundraiser where you would charge people $5 to take a swing at it with either a 8kg sledgehammer or a pick ax.
Hey, people pay $5 for a minute worth of "ordinary out of a junkyard" car smashing, I'm sure that real car guys would pay that much for a swing at that turd. I'll get it started with $20 to begin putting that car out of it's misery.
