Maybe you should think about writing your congressman. Make sure that all your ducks are in a row before writing the letter. JAG is also a good one. Give them the opportunity first.

I don't know your details, but I have been through a medical review board myself, so I do know about boards to a degree.
First: Do you want to stay in? If so, could you qualify for another MOS?
Second: If you do not want to stay, and they sending you packing due to a pre enlistment condition then I would be asking why the hell they let you in! Was a "Line of Duty determination" written up reguarding the condition? If so, I would wonder what it states. If MEPS screwed up, and let you pass with a condition that should have exempted you from being able to serve and did not, someone owes your ass! Those are lost years on your life that could have been applied towards another career! Screw them! If JAG cannot assist, I suggest you seek a legal consult to determine if their are any other options you may have.
I am sorry to hear this! Keep your head up, email me if you have any questions!
Larry

Have you been given profiles or anything like that? How far in your career did you start finding these spurs? Where you ever (while in the army) medically treated or complain to the medics about it?
I would try to find stuff like that.
Also, I have my Senator's address and phone number (for Kentucky). Your more than welcome to it. But, I'll pretty much tell you he'll want domcumation of any past or previous records that will help prove the army wrong.

Sounds like the result of a few too many road marches to me! I highly doubt you did them prior to enlistment! It, to me, depends on what you want to do with your life as to how you proceed. If you want to stay in, look for a different MOS. Otherwise, I say they owe you. If you only had a year or less in service, then I would maybe feel a little different, but this problem has had years to and years to rear its ugly head, like in the first year of service!!!!! Also, don't forget to document everything! and talk to the IG. Give em' hell, keep your head and tact, but give em' hell!

Where are you from in KY? I am from Somerset, Ky!
My wife is from Gainesville Fl. Predator, if you get out and work for FHP, and ever see a red 35th SS do a fly by please don't write me up! I got a ticket in Fl, outside Cedar Key, in 2001. I was pulled over by a damn FHP Camaro, til this day I am pissed

RTZSS, I've from all over in KY. Live in Elizabethtown for awhile, Mt. Washington, Shepardsville(both Bullit County), and now Taylorsville (Spencer County). I'm an Ohio Valley Raceway/Louisville Motor Speedway Brat you could say. I used to know every inch of those to tracks.
Trying to place Summerset. Think I've been fishin' down there once or twice.

Predator and SSZ, I wish you the best. It took hell, a senator and 4 congress men to get my wife out and she was a Chapter 8/pregnancy. But, she did get pretty good 'severance' pay. Plus she wasn't happy in the army anyway.
