Buddy of mine just stopped by the house with a 2001 GT roller on a trailer. Bought it down in tx for 2k, says he is gonna make a 25.1c car out of it (I wont go into it, but needless to say, you need bank to build a super street outlaw car). I ask him what he is gonna do with his 89 hatchback mustang. Sell it he says matter of fact.
Here is the deal. Certified chasis/16pt rollcage w/halo (certification has 2 years left). Backhalf car. Roller 12K, with motor and built C4 37K.
The car has been in the money 10 times this year, and he only races heads up. Average ET is 8.55 @168mph, leaves dead straight and hangs the hoops past the 60'.
Not just talking guys, if your serious and want to get into racing, this is a steal. The guy hangs out with the likes of Doug Mangrum and Les Baer, nothing but the best. BTW, the motor is a Yates Head/Sonny Bryant Crank, Roush A4 block with 3 stages of N20. Last dyno was 1340hp.
I'll get some vid up someday when im not so lazy
