That's right I said it. I know the Vilseck clan is strong but the K-town crew is a misnomer at best. So here's what I suggest. Any and all are welcome w/ in 3 hr drive to and from making Mannhiem or Stuttgart the meeting place. Lets make a date for meet and greet w/ or w/out fbody cars. Seems the only get togethers are 1on1 racing events. Well the founders started this in the dead of winter w/ no message board just pieces of papers on cars. So I'm gonna go back in time.
Since people do have families lets forecast this out so people can make their plans accordingly.
Nov 15th,22nd or the 29th
Dec 6th, 13th, or 20th
Which ever date is the majority it'll be. From there we'll meet at said place. Personlly Stuttgart is far for us IMO 1.5 to 2 tops if ya goofin around. Darmstadt is probably the same as well as Vilseck crew and whatever other area we may be located at. Porsche dealership is the ideal place because it's simple to find from all areas. (I know)
From there we can then go grab some vittles and get to finally put some faces to all these board names! What ever happens after that is up for grabs. What should it matter? It's not going to be a waste of anyones time or is it? So what do you guys say? Lets make this happen!!!!!

Stuttgart's the farthest for me ... something slightly further up north would be appreciated Either way, if I can work it out somehow I'm in ... minus the 'maro, it's out of comission from Nov 1 through Feb 29 ... (d@mn, one extra day of winter next year!)

November 15th sounds good.. Maybe I'll have the Z back by then.. I doubt it.. I will go, but I might need a ride. I don't see the wife letting me sport the GTI for such an excursion.

Leave? What's that? Oh yes, I remember ... the thing that's listed as "46,5" somewhere in my files ...

Why not Ramstein? Or somewhere in K-town? Isn't it pretty much centralized??

Can we do one by mid October? Around the Wurzberg area? I ship mine soon! I'll supply a BBQ, farm roads, and Volks Wagens. There is a good spot for pics around the castle too. Anyone interested let me know. I can also house 5 or 6 people too.

Well if K-town is more centralised fine either way. I'm just trying to get the ball rolling so come next spring it won't be so difficult in hooking up once in a while just for GP.
ZCam94 if you wanna do one in mid Oct that's cool too. But I'm just trying to forecast one out a little further down the road in hopes of getting max people on the board to respond and commit. If I could get the poll to show up it be even better but some reason I can get the poll post.

I fly November 11th. I've talked to a couple non-fbody members around Geibelstadt and have 4 that say they might. SSZ28 said he was up for the ride but no fbody. I'd just like to get together with a few, cause a little hell and havic and BBQ. And I normally cause hell and havic on my own!
This is why I think breaking into chapters would be a good idea. I remeber we used to meet like once a month. I went to 3 or 4 of these (16 cars was the biggest), went out to do a couple of runs and the polzi showed up. Then all of a sudden everybody stopped! So, I started rallying up who I could around the area.

Unfortunately, I really don't think Ktown is centralized. Ktown is the furthest West that we really have people.. Most people are between Ktown and the Graf/Hohenfels area..

All those dates are OK for me... Kaiserslautern or Darmstadt or Stuttgart doesn't matter either...
