Post subject:  GOT MY ORDERS TO CLEAR!!!
I got my orders today to ETS. I'm happy but, they got me at the drive-thru again. While in Kuwait I was stop-lossed. I finally got a new date to ETS. So, upon returning to Germany I put in for teminal leave and have been waiting patiently for these orders. Well, today I get them and find out I'm leaving eight days earlier than planned. Thats great but it isn't. #1, I've been here for 5 years and made lots of friends. I had my time planned accordingly to visit all and give a final farewell, now I don't. #2 The Z is still in the bodyshop, then has to get a cat con. put on it then, a rear main seal and tighten up anything else leaking, and clean it. Then I have to do it all to my mini-van. #3 I still haven't got my son's passport. #4 I have to sell a lot of my terminal leave due to the "system error" which seems to happen a lot in the Army. And #5 I have to drop a class it took me 3 years to get into.
I thought about a Euro out but I was told I didn't have enough time. Then I asked for a 30 day extension and, of course, I don't have enough time to extend now. So, once again: F@*KED AT THE DRIVE-THRU!!!

Yeah, those "personel" people can really stick it in and break it off don't they? All with a smile.

Sorry to hear that. Another one leaving is not good. Actually there is almost nobody left.

When are you scheduled to leave?
