I know this took awhile, but I got a little info on the embrodier machines: The brand is called PFAFF. I haven't got a website yet. The lady from the px is supposed to email me the info on the machines. Although, she did suggest on model, $ 799.00, that would fit the car club needs. She said it great for soft fabrics( T-shirts, towels, hats, ect...), the program for the computer is user friendly, a life time guarentee, and it is made by a german company. Looked like a pretty cool little toy. They also have a listing of local retailers that sell blank t-shirts and hats in bulk. As soon as I get the info I will send it to ya.
Until then, I'll be 10-10 on the side!

Tnx ... just saw an article on one machine in a computer magazine ... the program alone is 799€, the sewing machine 4 grand ... not really that tempting ...
At $799 (so, maybe around €700), with some 20-30 FBE shirts, plus some extras and a couple auctions on ebay, a big portion of the cost would be covered ... just let me know the product id so I can try to find it somewhere ...

All the ones at the px start at around $ 300 then work their way up. Also, I am pretty sure you could go onlne and down load the programs for free.

I looked at the site, the question is which ones support d/l of stitch images to the machine (either through memory card or direct connection) and are able to do an image of - say - 3x3in at least ...
