Well, thanks to the wonderful intelligence of my principal at Sembach MS, I'm NOT heading your guy's way afterall....

He only responded to me twice in 3 months, never mailed me the stuff he said he was going to, and never called me when we set up a time. On top of it, they never found me affordable housing or a roommate to alleviate the housing costs. Needless to say I'm *slightly* aggravated about getting jipped out of 5 months in Europe. :x Oh well... there will be plenty of other opportunities to come visit you guys in the future. :)

I was really looking forward to heading over there, and I'm actually going to Greece and Turkey for 22 days right after I graduate in May, so I might be able to swing an extra side trip while I'm there. :)

I have rearranged all my student teaching stuff so that I'm doing it here in Flagstaff at the school I've been working at for the past year and a half, so that's kinda neat. I already know all the teachers and staff, as well as a majority of the children I'll be with, and they're all ecstatic that I'll be with them, so I'm welcomed with open arms. :)

By no means am I gonna bail on this forum, though... you guys are too cool and made me feel more welcome than any other board I belong to... well, with the exception of the one I run. :P I greatly appreciate all that you folks have done for me in terms of establishing contacts and whatnot. THANK YOU!! I WILL come harrass you... do not fear! :mrgreen:

Man... I WISH I had his number! He has mine but not vice versa, otherwise I'd give it to you guys to have some fun with! :twisted: I think you can get the number for the school on the Sembach MS website. Can't remember, though.

I'm still thinking about applying for a position over there, as I've already been accepted into the program and cleared by the gov't. The pay is great and the benefits are unbeatable, so i might have to give that a shot. If I DO get hired on, it would be for a few years, so I would bring the car over with me... It REALLY wants to play on the Autobahn! :twisted:

Fellas, this is my friend Ted from here in AZ. props to him, as he's got one of the quickest cars out there, with only exhaust and a 3500 stall... runs 12.8's at 3500 ft. Feel free to pick on him all you like! :lol:
