Just a quick plug for my Car Domain site which has several pages of photographs of American cars here in the UK from taken at some of our shows. http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/471412 Some nice cars in there. |

That really is a sweet looking ride you got there, Lusifer! You think that tunnel brace reduces clearance? Wait 'til you get long tubes... ![]() ![]() Keep up the good work! |

Much as I'd like long tubes, there are already a few roads I can't use because of road-calming humps which catch the exhaust in the middle. I remortgaged last year to clear all my outstanding debts (it's still not a huge mortgage) and I'm now starting to save some some of the surplusl spare money every month to put towards my final "big blow-out" car. I've bought the licence plate LV51FER so it has to be a Sept 2001 or later car. It could be anything, depends on what comes along and how much I feel I want to blow. Candidates range from a 2002 Trans Am to a C5, possibly a Z06 or, since I have to wait a year or so to build up some funds, I may wait and see if the Cadillac CTS-V depreciates a decent amount and import one of those as 4 seats are required if I'm honest and a Z06 engined Caddy has a great appeal to me and i think it will become a cult car like the Buick GN. I might even get a C6 as a "lifetime" car on a long loan, depending on the cost but think this is unlikely because it's still a lot of money for a two seater car that I can only use occasionally (but hell, it would last me till I drop dead so it's not an impossible option). Finally, there's always the chance that in the next two years, GM might finally come up with that new Camaro we've been dreaming about. The 2005 Mustang might be a possibility too. Whatever the option, it will be an American car because they're fantastic cars with real charisma (OK, not the run of the mill dross). Either way, I 'll be keeping this Z28 as I'm pretty attached to it. The new car would have to be overwhelmingly brilliant for me to part with it and my girlfriend can't wait to get her hands on it (or the car, he he). Happy 2004. I hope it will be a good one. I'm getting married (again) in October so have to get that sorted first. Honeymoon looks like being in Thailand. No doubt she'll want children after that. |

A Z06 would be sweet, man! Anything that handles as well or better than an AWD 911 Turbo, and costs less than half of the price, is a bonafide contender in my book! ![]() |

The Caddy sounds cool. Wonder how much it'll go for in a few years... |
