That's like $60K, but are you hurt or something? You'd easily make that in the 9 more years you'd say in for. I know how it feels, though, believe me. I will have 12 when I get out... I'll do my last year in the states, to make sure.. I never wanted to reenlist once. I was sort of encouraged if you know what I mean. I have too many dreams and wishes to stay in any longer against my will. It's not for everyone, and if it takes you 15 years to realize that, OH WELL. I totally understand, although 5 years would sound pretty good. |

In the AF if you are over 10 yrs and a E5 you get nothing! Sounds like the Army takes care of you after all. 5 more to go and I get retirement for life! I don't plan on dieing til after 115 yrs of age either!  They'll send someone in to knock me off because I'll be the last person collecting a check after the military fell in the year 2070. LOL!!!!!!!!

i am getting out medical i tore my achilles and have 4 pins attaching it to my heel ....so that is my disability severence pay ....i have only been in 6 years but i get paid for 11 becuase i worked at the federal prison before i came in so i kinda lucked out lol |
