Hey Ken hope your enjoying your leave so far. I took your car for a ride around the block yesterday. You probably won't recognize it's your car when you drive it. It has a hell of a lot more pull now than it did before. There is however one problem still that I thought I had fixed your temp is still up there. There is a few things it could be
1. your thermostat is fried
2. is a long shot but it could be the bra on the front restricting the air flow.
3. Your oil is high so I'm going to give you a quik oil change to see if that knocks out the problem.
4. or some other things i'll try if the top ideas don't work.
There is one more question the HOLLEY throttle body has a very loose spring which makes you pedal soft. If you want I can try and put the stock spring in there to tighten up your pedal a little it's your call.
I'm going to take the car down probably on wensday to weld up the cat to the Y/pipe. And that should complete the first phase. I'm going to fix my Z and then I'm going to start your CAM Swap. Don't worry about the spring compressor for the heads I'm going to buy one so I'll have it to do my car.
Other than that give me a call and let me know what you want to do. Sorry this post is so long. Just wanted you to know the status on your car. Once I fix the temp you'll be running at a 100 percent. Later Ryan.

It is for sure not the bra as our cars are bottom coolers. They get the air from the bottom.....

Roy the fans both come on at the right time. And the Bra thing was honestly a long shot but I had to try. I think I pin pointed the problem. He had the radiator replaced a year ago and since then it ran very hot. When I pulled out the radiator to replace it they put a lot of stop leak in an old radiator that was supposed to be new. So I'm pretty sure they put a lot of stop leak in there because it was running down the side of the old radiator in chunks. My diagnostic is that it plugged the heater core and it's not allowing the coolant to flow at high rpm's because at an idle or low speeds it runs very cool. So I'm going to bypass the heater core and see what happens. The core is the only thing left to try I put a new water pump, radiator and thermostat in it so there's only two things left is the hose's or the core. I would bet it's the core good answers though.
