Just had a report on Top Gear on a sports BMW CSL ... d@mn, what did BMW build there? 3.2l engine with 355HP! Saved weight on just about everything (no power seats, windows, etc., no A/C, etc...), and put tires on that car where they have a disclaimer with the delivery where you have to sign that you know they are not for rain driving ... price tag is around 90keuro ...
almost beat the GT3 on the track test ...

Just drove an Alpina B3 (330 coupe) - nice ride, but not for the price tag it has ... liked the steering wheel gear change, though the buttons are a bit small ... them 270 horses do pull ... that 6er would be a nice thing in my 'maro

you 'just drove' that car at 0500am
ooh... brought girlfriend home from disco
Yes them gearing buttons on the steering wheel are fun, takes a little while to get used to, I had massive problems:
I usually slide with the clutch down into the curve, shift and speed out - now while steering it wasn't much fun to find them buttons...

BTW the M3 CSL does 7.50 on the Nurburgring. That's faster than a Ferrari Modena Challenge Stradale (7.56)!
