Well since I'm hear in Turkey all kinds of things can be made. But this popped into my head instead for us. Club Coin. You know the exact same coins that get tossed around in the military?
My thinking behind this is 2 fold. One idea is the traditional one borrowed from the US military that when we are together at large gatherings. Coin checks would take place for giggles/drinks or whatever. The 2nd idea was that it would be different from any other club out there w/ the t-shirts ect. Now some of us do have t-shirts and I'm having one custom made but that's different. It would seperate us from the other clubs not to mention if you are REAL member you'd have one. That seperates the ones that say they are in the club vs the ones that really are in the club and come to meets/events etc.
The drawback is the coin would have to be purchased if you wanted one for the small fee of 4 bucks because that's what it cost to have them made. The other though is the killer from my standpoint. Minimum 50 must be made! We don't have no more than 20 people post out of the so called 450 members here.
So is it a gay idea or what?

Well let me see if enough interest is there 1st. I figure the design would be the FBE logo on the main page and on the back a outline of Germany or something............don't know exactly since I suck w/ design ideas. Thanks for the vote of confidence though.

That's cool. If I can 20 at least I'll go and put in for it. But seeing how there are only 3 at the moment but 9 views maybe it's a no go. I wish people would say something either way instead of just reading and then skipping out on the post. ARGH........
I miss the old days Jack.

I miss those days too, John, but now we have more than enough "cool" guys to hang out with. It's just a matter of getting 'em all together at the same time. I know not everyone has the same priorities as us, but they should really check themselves if they give half a $hit about this club.

This will probably be my last post of the evening. I'll see how it turned out tomorrow and go from there. Give me some ideas for the back side of the coin though. The outline of Germany was all I could think of at the moment w/ maybe the autobahn sign dead in the middle.
Thanks,

I think the outline of Europe would be a better idea, since we're fbodyeurope, not fbodygermany. That in itself would be enough.

I know you're in Turkey John. But personally Turkish coins suck in comparision to Korean ones. $100 gets you the mold and about 50 coins last I checked.
I have connections in Songtan and I do have orders to Osan...

Could do a small B&W pic with a 'maro and 'bird for the back side ... maybe with the Europe map as a backdrop ... if I get around to it some time

Well since it's fbodyeurope, I don't think it would be fair at all to exclude all the other countries in Europe that have members on this board!

I'd take a few. I do agree on having more countries than just a couple. Don't know how to squeeze all of Europe onto a coin and it still look good.
Why don't you give us more than 15 minutes to let you know what we think? Some of us can't get to a computer every day.
BTW, no, I don't think that it's gay.

Dude awesome idea, not gay at all. I will take 5 of them because you never know if you missplace one. Plan to keep one in the TA and one in the Monte. Let me know how to pay for it.

Count me in for a few. How about an outline of Europe on the front with the logo superimposed on it and a Camaro and Firebird on the back. Just a thought.
