I was thinking about a dual stage 175/125 =300 shot of juice for the Hawk. Got a couple extra parts laying around could hook it up pretty easy in a bind I could step it up a bit. ![]() ![]() |

Just a thought. If you don't have the traction to handle the power you have, what will you accomplish by increasing the power. Might make more sense to work on the traction issue first. That might also make it a little less scary too. Just food for thought. |

Well my 2 cents on that issue is the what Jerry said. If yo do not have the traction then what the hell good is it going to do for you but a good smoke show at the 1/8 mile mark. 2 stage shot is good if you are running in the pro modified bracket. That is the only time I have seen anyone run that set up, on huge slicks. It's your call. |

Bruce just like to say he has 800 hapees. It's like music to his ears. What I wanna know is how you'll pull that off w/ the stk fuel system? |

Bruce, anything is worth a "shot" once. Try it and see what happens but be prepared for the worst. Have you thought of going to real slicks instead of ET Streets, it might make the difference your looking for. Will the motor & and the rest of the driveline beable to handle it??? |

It was not a problem with the Drag ET's last year and I just ordered taller ones to kill the power a bit. car is being raised to stock height -.5 with the coil overs. this will allow it to hook. Ithink I have been close to max on the fuel system so that needs to get looked at. This would be a winter project and we are currently in the middle of april. |

Hmmm, i´d recommend a SERIOUS life insurance first. Oh and maybe a couple of brake parachutes? ![]() Hmm, i saw you almost fly off the track a few times, maybe Jerry and the others are right, handling and control come first. R@M |

whats it doing? floating, skating, or is the back end just busting loose? Its not gonna drive like a caddy when your trying to get serious, but if its trying to swap ends, or just isnt set up right, then your for sure a danger to you and anyone around you. I woudnt think your trapping fast enough to need aero help. I'm gonna be all over/under a few cars at the clash of the titans apr 24, because I want to know what they chose to run. I expect to see four links galore, but maybe someone has a setup that is using the stock hook up points. BTW clash of the titans is open to anyone/brand, run whatcha brung, pro tree, heads up. One of the few places you see true 10.5 cars trapping 200mph+ ![]() |

Almost sounds like YOU need one of those bookshelves on your decklid. ![]() I wonder if there is another (different) trunk off of another Firebird that would provide more downforce than what you have on there now. |

Problem was gone with the MT Drags. Problem was with the Street ET's it would get squirlly loose traction on the far end at about 110MPH. 6700-7000 on crack till i hit 4th and it settled down. |
