If you have ordered tires from tirerack, and have received them in about a week or so, did you use 1st class, or express to ship them. The difference in price is about $120, so I want to make sure I need to order them express before I pay the extra $$$.

Express takes LONGER! The reason is because it has to be signed for at EVERY stop. There are many stops that it has to make on the way here. Priority mail and you should get it within a week. On two different occasions, I got them in 4 days! Never took longer than 8 calander days if sent Priority. I have ordered MANY tires in the past 10 years...over 30 at least.

I've always ordered through discount tires direct. Shipping would take 10 days and that was through SAM! Not much help but just another avenue to consider.

Not yet, but I'd like to have tires for 'em when they do get here. I need to get those stinkin' steelies off my baby. I want the Goodyear Eagle GS-D3 tires. I wish they still made Potenzas in 17s, but I can only find them in 18s. Oh well, the GYs are much cheaper anyway.

I ordered the driveshaft last night, so hopefully I'll have that by next weekend too. If not, I'll be highly disappointed. :(

Tell me about it. I found an Inland Empire at Summit.

Ok, I decided to go with their Avons instead, since they're $200 cheaper. I don't think I need $200 tires right now. I ordered them, along with the driveshaft, so hopefully I'll be up by next weekend. It would be great if I could be running by then.

Well, the DS shipped today, so if that gets here, I will definitely take the Camaro to Bitburg, but if not, I'll be in the GTI. Either way, I'll be there, but it would be nice to show some force!

You already got the rear put in? Hope your DS comes in time. Seeing that it's wed it SHOULD make it. My fingers are crossed too.
