it just looks really fat, like you cranked it over a few times before it caught.
I love the crackle of compression. Sounds good John.
I gotta go with 395 thou, I was partial to the black, but to be far I havent seen the whole car yet.

Yeah it's a little on the fat side. That was the 1st crank Mike but it sat all wk. The rings haven't fully seated yet either only have 200-300 miles since the rebuild. The exhaust was using the smallest hole so it sounds even more lopey when removed. Thanks for the vid Jack.
As far as the silver.....well. I had 2 blk cars a new A4 and mine. I was anal bout the 4 esp around the wife and I just couldn't be anal w/ 2 blk cars so the obvious choice to me was change the color. Not to mention Dieter and his cronies ruined a brand new paint job so it was even more logical after that. Plus it's easier to maintain now w/ the exception of bugs on the front but it's so much easier to wipe and press on w/out worrying about fine scratches. Everyone that has seen it loves it. If I could get a pic to post I would but instead here's a link I took after I got back from Bitburg.
