I am almost done with the 393 all i am waiting on is my Headers and my new cam. I will be in the 10s on just motor with ease. I went 11.9 this thursday at 118 mph I knocked off a Twin turbo Porsche. I got my 60 ft down to a 1.6. I am getting to where I dont want to take this 306 out. I may just look for a coupe to drop my 393 motor in. But any way here is the pic of my 393 with my new GT40 racing intake. I am getting it ported next month. I will get you guys a vid when I get it in.

That is a 75 mm throttle body and 30lbs injectors but plan on going up to a 42lbs injectors.

Here is what I am running currently. It is a 306 with 5lbs of boost. And goes 11s at 118 mph. Not bad for 5 liters.

are you still relying on the EEC-IV to run your fuel/spark? I'm just wondering what the limit of it is.

The cars I'm refering to havent drove on the street in years, but ALL of them are running FAST or MoTech, and the nitroused cars run Dig 7.

I usually have a digital 6 or a Btm but I have to send them off to be repaired. So as of right now I am running stock computer with a msd coil and thats it. And i have been running with no problems. After my 393 goes in I will go for a tune with a diablo chip. And when I put boost to the 393 I will go get it retuned . I will also have the digital 6 back on the motor.

What kinda times do you think you'll be running on the new motor with 6.2-3 liters under your hood? I'm just a bit curious since your already in the 11s with the 306. That is going to be a badAzzz car once it's complete I'm pretty sure you'll be dipping into the mid tens once you get it all set up.

One more ? since your at bragg right now. Have you met a guy there with a maroon mustang kinda like yours named Jeff. He used to hang out at advanced autos on 401 just before the GM dealership. I know when I used to hang out with him he was dipping into the 10s with a 351 under his hood. Man that 393 is going to be bad post a vid when you get her running.
