Well, its about that time.... Yep, time for yours truly to buy yet another car. Even PCSing in 3 or 4 months doesn't deter me.
It was only a matter of time, but last week the wife's BMW (read POS) 735i finally pulled its last stunt and I'm f-n sick of it. So I spent the week looking for a good, cheap and reliable car. I never thought I'd find the deal I did; a 95 Volvo 850 in great condition for the paltry sum of $2K. Too bad it's Euro specs, or it'd be going back to the US versus one of the F-bodies...
Here it is, what do you think? Good deal or not?

Roy...I just junked a 1988 760 GLE a few weeks ago! I posted it here back in April or May but got no takers. I didn't need it so I sent it packing just to make some room around my place... and I still have 7 cars parked here...

Hell, I would have held onto it for you if I'da known. It wouldn't have hurt it to sit here until then...and I don't think I PCS before you get back...
Well, you know what they say about hindsight...

Very nice car! Volvo is always a good choice for a family car :) With this price it seems to be like a present ... !

My first car has been a 1973 Volvo in-line 8-banger Sedan and after my first ride with automatic tranny I've been a little bit confused with Gas and Brake and no Clutch and so I slammed this 180 HP car right into the rear of my fathers Jaguar Coupe .... The Rearbumper ended up on the rear seats and my Volvo didn't get any scratch on his chrome front bumper ... :D

After all a very funny story because ... as I said ... it's been my first ride, driving licence only a few hours old and my father has been sitting on my passengers seat trying not to loose his brain while seeing his car redesigned  ...

Since this day .... more than 15 Years ago without any further happenings I'm a two-feet driver like in Formula One ... right gas .. left brake ... but enough old storys!

Congratulations to you ....
