Your right Jack, I let off REAL early, it was the fist lap at full throttle and was trying to guage where to brake at. The pads are HPS which are designed for daily driving and auto-x. Road courses eat them up QUICK!! I did notice that I didn't over heat them which means that I should of gone alittle deeper in the corners. I was playing it safe (pads are REALLY WORN!!!), didn't want any concrete racing stripes.......yes I was being a wuss ![]() I know excuses ....excuses.... |

I used to have HPS pads to, lasted almost 5000 miles (~500 track mile mostly N'ring) Lots of Dust and noise on the street and don't hold up on the track. The idea of a pad that works great on the street and track just doesn't work |

Lancer033, your exactly right!!! The HPS is great on the street but doesn't last on the track. The HP+ is supposed to be better for track days. Changing out at the track would really be the only solution to having a pads that lasted at the track. |

And then there is RS44 compound. About the best all around pad I've tested to date. Developed by Porsche Made By Pagid |

Jack I haven't seen them made nor heard of any one selling them for the Fbody caliper. But don't let that be Gospel though. |

You can get the Hawk HT-10s which is a "race pad" for the F-body calipers, but if your going to drive it everyday I'd go with the Hawk HP+. That was going to be my next pad until I made that big purchase that is STILL sitting in my basement ![]() ![]() ![]() |
