Hi,
after some Phonecalls and a few diskussions on the 1on1 forum, some drivers have showed interest in having a small "Christmas" meeting. We have been able to get the "Schützenhaus" in Sembach on short notice, this is located at the far end of the "Gewerbegebiet" (former US airfield). If you need a more detailed description, just let me know.
Date is this coming Sunday, Nov 28, we beginn at 1200 ...
For those who do not know it, the Schützenhaus is a restaurant, they sell food and drinks, so you do not have to bring a grill and a cooler *gg*

nach ein paar Gesprächen sowie kurzem Gedankenaustausch auf dem Diskussionsforum von 1on1 haben einige Fahrer Interesse geäußert, sich mal als kleine "Weihnachtsfeier" zu treffen - als Treffpunkt haben wir das "Schützenhaus" in Sembach kurzfristig bekommen können. Dieses befindet sich am Ende des Gewerbegebiets Sembach (ehem. US-Flugplatz). Wenn jemand eine etwas detailiertere Wegbeschreibung benötigt, einfach kurz melden ... Termin ist der kommende Sonntag, 28.11., Beginn um 12:00 ...
Das Schützenhaus ist übrigens (für die die es noch nicht kennen) ein reguläres Restaurant, man kann dort Getränke und Essen erwerben, Grill und Kühlschrank braucht also keiner mitzubringen *gg*

Is it hard to find? If so, please post some more detailed directions. We'll try to make it but I'm not sure.

Jerry,
just take the new piece of Autobahn from K-Town towards Mainz, Silke said the exit Sembach is open now. Then, head towards the US base there, or look for signs to the "Gewerbegebiet" ... it's at the former US airfield, when you enter the place, go straight until the taxiway, then right and all the way to the end ...
