Hey all, I just got my computer and internet today, so I wanted to say hi. Vegas is awesome, but this 50 degree sh*t is way too cold. It needs to get back up in the mid 60's. Well, no track time yet. They are only running organized events until the end of Feb., but that's ok as my rear end is getting really noisy. Can't wait to get to the track though. So far I haven't ran into many hot cars yet. I played with some kid in a LS1 camaro the other night and beat him. Guess he couldn't drive or something. I'll be on the board more after I get settled in.

Glad you made it ok. I bet Vegas is off the chain. I wish I could be there. 98 days though, and I will be in Houston. Woohoo! :D

I found me a good engine builder the other day (he has his own renegade car) and talked with him about getting an engine built. Decided on a 408W with a healthy set of heads and wild hydraulic roller cam. I also think I'm gonna go with a carb and nitrous. With my diff taking a crap and the cost of moving i'm gonna have to hold off for a bit. I planning on giving him a deposit before I leave for the sandbox this summer, and when i get home (6-8 months later) i should be doing the swap and all the other details. I decided I'm not gonna try to run an outlaw class, because I'll be gone a lot with my unit. But my starting goal now is low 10's. I just hope I can do it without going crazy or broke.

Glad to hear you made it over there in one piece. Tell Elvis that Chuck said HI! There are a lot of impersonators out there, so you'll just have to tell each one you see that I said hi and you're bound to get the real one.

If you're looking for a good cam, Ed Curtis is very well known on the Mustang forums as a cam guru and can grind a custom cam to match your car's setup. Go to the stang forums and do a search on his name, you should come up with plenty of threads or email him at EdCurtisFTI@aol.com or go to http://www.flowtechinduction.com/ .

Thanks for the info. There is an older guy in my flight at work that is an Elvis impersonator. Haven't seen any on the strip yet, though.
