Iasked him a real simple question and he banned me.

The question was
Quote:
Are you a phuckin idiot

I knew he was thin skinned. Oh well I can tell he doesn't like a difference in a opinion.

Hey Roy, no big deal man.
BTW, what were you doing on the "Mighty" anyway? It's a Ford forum (still OK) run by a couple of half-wits (not so OK) who are not capable of writing a legible English sentence without making half a dozen spelling/grammatical errors. A bit below your standard huh?

Just because you drive a Porshe does not means that you are better than anyone else.

Grow up!

Roy,

I have been seeing all the BS and I was under the impression that you were better than that. Why are you bringing stuff to this level?

Actually the correct spelling is "Porsche" and no, I don't think that I am better than anyone else.
I do however have a problem with the moronic tone set by some of the Mighty's moderators (Jay is a splendid example), which animates other posters to behave in a similar way. This drags the quality of Mighty conversations down to the lowest common denominator. If you don't come from the ghetto, why speak as if you do?
My apologies to all the decent Mighty members, but you will have to tidy up somewhat if you want to be respected/taken seriously.
Peace

Marcus, Why don't you show me what a life is. I am sure you are a prime example of it.

As to impressing the kids I'll leave that up to you and jay, you two seem to do a bang up job of it.

I sent you a board mail explaining the how that was inadvertently posted.

Where did this disagreement take place? I'd like to get more background on it, so that maybe I can understand it better.

I do know that without sarcasm emoticons, and that just reading something and typing words is not always the best way to communicate with others, and to truly get your points across.

Was that grounds for him being banned? I don't expect to agree with everything Garry says, but even if, for some crazy reason, I pissed him off, I highly doubt he would ban me.

Just look at all the help Roy has given the members of MM. He's given more helpful feedback and advice than about 75% of that board, and he has less than 400 posts.

Whatever been on both sides of that fence. Roy is a great person that knows his stuff about cars and has his car setup to do things safely his focus is brakes/suspension mine is power. Howerver he has set me straight a couple times a bad handling high Hapeed car is a accident waiting to happen. I think it is the mighty mustang loss if he is banned that place will end up like other sites because of a disagreement and people wearing feeling on there sleeves. I do not know everything about the situation but willing to bet a signed dollar that I have seen people get there license pulled or yanked for less. Now have I engaged in or seen street racing? There was a street scene in Nurenburg a couple years back was pretty kewl till someone got killed!!! Try to go up there now and you may not have a car. :(

He was banned based upon WHAT he said and HOW he said it.. I spoke with Roy a BUNCH of times via email and PM over MIghty when he was in the sandbox. He seems pretty cool. But as a reputable site, controlling the boards is paramount because if they turn into a venue for open arguments containing language that would make a truck driver blush, the site will get bad reviews, (and MIghtymustangs.net has been featured in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords), and attendance will drop off. Now I dont know if there is old problems between Stangster and Roy, but the verbal attack on Marcus was way over kill. He could have made his point, stayed on mighty, without attacking Markus. If I was to attack, or if you were to attack a staff member or ANY member for that reason, do you think that would go unnoticed? Do you mean to tell me that everything would be cool because we are all"adults"? I dont think Garry would allow that. And, Mighty does not allow that either. I have nothing against memebers of F-Body Europe or the cars they drive, but as a staff member of Mighty I expect, and all of Mighty expects a certain level of civility.

I just think three chances was enough. He made his choice. We all have to move on.

And we will- move on, that is. "Phuckin Idiot" is totally unacceptable. I'm sure there's never been a post like that by a MM member anywhere.

Three chances , what are you talking about Gary.? I was warned onced and then banned with out notice or provocation. I wasn't even givien a chance to explain. But It doesn't matter , there are problems over at mighty that Marcus fails to recognize or fails to react. I ve never seen any one banned or warned at Mighty for giving the finger or calling me a fugger. But thats cool. I am a big guy and can handle it unlike some. If you want helpI'll give it , if you got thin skin I can help you with that too.

Bruce,

I have to agree with that statement.

I can also tell you that I’m a VERY neutral person and as a “Global Modâ€
