Talked to a TÃœV guy at Pitstop today about the wheels on my 'maro ... He would pass the wheels IF the old laws (german laws) were still in place - with them the actual treadwear needs to be covered in top by the wheelwells ...
BUT ... due to EU regulations, now the WHOLE tire has to be covered ... but my tires stick out about 1/2cm ...
Anyway, he said if I did something about the bottom part of the rear fender (the soft plastic stuff curving in so nicely) to get it to cover more of the wheel towards the back, he'd still pass 'em ...
