I´m still very undecided where to go.
Mike (30birdy) is going to RaceWars, Bruce´s going to Bitburg, afaik.
Any other opinions?
Linda & Jerry, what event will you take part?

I'm going to Vegas, So I won't be going to any of them.
Not like my going to any was going to persuade you otherwise
But thumbs up to Bitburg...first of the season...support your local 1on1 Motorsports!
Especially with the media attention it probably will have!!!! I'm sorry I will miss it!

We'll be at Bitburg. I want to hear a report from Race Wars before I go back. It was getting too nuts by the end of summer last year. Too many idiots. If they don't get it a little under control, someone is going to get their car wrecked or worse. It was a lot of fun before it got so big. The last time we went, you spent almost 2 hours in line to get a run in. Great party, but lousy racing.

I fully understand that. In October the place wasn´t as crowded as in September, but it was still too much. At evening/night they used (and will also use this year) the big runway to get the people back and the line moved faster... let´s wait and see.
Seems like my first event will be Bitburg, too... as everybody seems to go there
(even though 1on1 is not very "local" for me, slickmetal )

requested Report:
Sundays late night news on the german dragracing board/chat:
on 3rd of April a 'vette slid sideways into the fencing. Nobody seriously hurt, spectators jumped away just in time. From then on they did not allow anybody from the eight mile mark on down.
