check this link for an interesting new e-motor design ... they speak about making 400% more torque than a regular motor the same size ...

I don't think the electric motor is the problem , its still is the battery. Until a self regenerative recombiant style battery with the reserve capacity of a u-boot battery room is made, it will always be dawdler.

Well, I guess as soon they build them little cold fusion reactors, that shouldn't be a problem anymore :lol:
