Post subject: | GM pulls out of Overseas Military Car Sales Program |
Quote: Effective 15 Sep 2005, GM cars can no longer be purchased through Military Car Sales (PX/BX). This is apparently being done to save money. GM sells approx. 3,000-4,000 vehicles yearly on the overseas military market, third behind Ford (10-11,000) and Chrysler (9-10,000). They never did offer the GTO because it was made in Australia. Now I may have to look stateside for a new Solstice.
Found this elsewhere. Looking for confirmation. |

No wonder they pulled the window stickers on the new Pontiac G6's. |

I do not know what GM is up to, and I hope they bring out some good news in the next few years, because the way things are looking, my 99 Trans Am is the last American Car I will ever have. ![]() |

I went into the car sales to check on the wife's truck and wanted to place an order for a new C6 when he informed me that GM not only pulled out of the overseas car sales but requested that the sales offices not tell the soldiers that they where pulling out.......guess I won't be buying a C6.. |
