So, who won the KOTH this year? I know that Val was up there in points. I did not see the final outcome of the event.

Don,
I had the privilage of taking it again. It was closer this year. I took 3rd in Auto-x, 1st in Road course, 1st in 1/4mi. Tires played a big part in it since it rained Sat and I stayed on street tires(hurt my times badly). Next year I know that Roy will be gunning HARD so I really will have to have my SHAT together if I plan on a Triple Crown. I do have a few tricks up my sleeve for next year but they will be VERY $$$$$$$$$$$$. Your getting close to coming home aren't you??
Val

Congrats! That is awesome. I have three weeks to go. Then I have to start adding some goodies to my car.

Jason,
When I get to ATL(DEC 06) then the 73 Bird will be hitting the track with a Big Block and tons of other mods. The 2001 will see more street time than track time.
Don,
If you want you some help with the car PLEASE let me know and I'll be there!! Be safe the next few weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will take you up on your offer when I get back. I appreciate it. I will also try and keep my head down but my job keeps me on the road alot until I leave. I am actually praticing for the road course down here. We have a 90 degree turn going from here to our log base. I try to sweep from inside to outside without scrubbing too much speed in my Armored HMMWV. The other day I hit it a little hard and it pushed the front end through the turn. So when I got back I put in heavier front springs from a M1025. I picked up 5 mph in the turn because of no front end push. Yes, I do get bored over here from time to time.
