Over at MM, somebody posted that access to gmail or hotmail was going to be blocked for all work computers ... Just wondering, I could set up webmail @FBE, with fbodyeurope.org addresses ... any takers? |

I'll see what they're saying tomorrow...but this has been an issue for the other services. Navy is blocking yahoo and AF is following closely behind if I remember correctly. |

We haven't been able to go to hotmail, yahoo mail, gmail ect for close to 2 years. No video or game sites, even some news sites are blocked

we're not supposed to go to those places but everybody does. I am kind of supprise there not websensed.  but there are ways around websense and not game, video or whatever site is websensed.

No webmail sites (there is 1 that I know of still), nothing that is http://forums.---------.com, all of the game sites, 95% of my favorites and history were blocked in 1 afternoon. About the only thing left to do at work is actually work.

Webmail has been blocked at Spangdahlem off and on for a while, then last year in October it became Air Force Instruction that webmail is forbidden...we havent had it it for a LOOOONG time. So when I saw that on the Air Force Times or whatever, I was like hell, we hadnt had it all the time! But I heard they will block it down range.. I'd take a fbody email. |
