I just took out the transmission yesterday it didn't really take that long about 1 1/2 hours by myself. I've learned a very valuable leason from all of this.

A 5K DUMP JUST ISN'T WORTH IT, AT ALL.

When I was pulling the transmission out a whole bunch of clutch parts where falling out. And I'm not talking about big clutch parts little pieces of metal and clutch fibers. So to make a long story short the clutch pressure plate is missing 6 inches from the pressure plate. There isn't any damage to the transmission or the flywheel. I know I was nervouse when I heard it shatter.

The good news is I should be up and running by the end of next week. So I'll be out terrorizing the locals yet once again.

Good for you Ryan.. I just got done doing Daves clutch today. It took us about 6hrs start to finish.. It was a learning experience for me. All works well so that was good. We even took the time to resurface his flywheel.......

Centerforce is junk. My problem might not be ALL its fault. The slave unit might be part of the problem. When I blew the factory clutch, it took them both.

The same clutch that came with the car. It was time for it to go out 60,000 on a stock clutch is almost un heard of. I know the way I drive that clutch was straight up abused.

5000k dumps are only good if you have a clutch that can handle them!! :) I know I won't be pulling any 160+ runs on the autobahn..... :(

Jack, no clutch can handle a 5000k dump, I would think 5k is the limit. He he. Sometimes ya just gotta take a dump.
