just had a report on TV about a kind of "car polishing course" ... for €1900 (!), guys got taught how to clean and polish their cars ...
OK, sure, cleaning and polishing the car is fine, but that was a bit extreme ... anyway, one thing I saw made me go like "whoa, you're not watching at all" ... when they "massaged" the cocoanut oil into the car (yup) the guy did with his bare hands (in order to "feel" the car better) - and did with his wedding ring on the finger ... yeah, right, polish it, and you're ready for a new coat of paint pretty quickly ...

Saw the same program a while ago. A few thoughts came into my mind....
* It's a load of staged BS!!!!
* If it's true, there are some seriously sad, lonely people that will pay far too much money for their 15 seconds of fame on TV.
* But most important, I must have too much time on hand if I watch that cr*p.

You know it's all fine and dandy to have a good looking car...but if there is one thing that I have learned after putting 40,000Km on a car in 16 months ... is that 90€ isn't really that much to pay some one else to clean it every 3 months.
