So, this guy has a 1971 Z28 he wants to sell. It has a 327 and TH350, but I want a big block and 4 speed. So, he's keeping the drivetrain. $2500 takes it. My question, take it or leave it? It has very little rust. No interior (everything is set up for the quarter mile) |

Jason, There are ALOT of better deals out there to be had. You have to get out and look around. I would say that if it was running and had NO rust maybe, but no drivetrain and some rust, keep looking. When you set up for 1/4mi does that mean caged & tubbed??? |

I agree with Val on this one. I bought a rolling chassis 70 Chevelle for $600 a few years back. Just keep looking around. If this car was fully caged, tubed, with gauges and electronics then I would think about it. Good luck. |

Well, he says its got mini tubs. All the suspension is set up. I'll hold off. Good thing I asked. What would be a good price? $1000? |
