Found two more ... trying to get further infos on the cars ...

- 81 Camaro RS, 250HP (?) w/auto trans, 245/275 wheels, 4bolt block - no more infos ... just talked to the guy and sent him a mail to get some tech data, like e.g. what motor/mods it has (can't be an original, as they only went up to 175 that year for the 350). Supposed to be in decent condition, with some rust ... supposed to be running, has TÜV till next year ... Asking DM 2800,-

- no 2nd, but ... '90 T/A w/ 246HP 350 engine ... not too many tech infos on that one, auto trans, ~65000mi coming from a dealer ... asking DM 6000,- ...

That '81 sounds good for the price, depending on the condition. A 350 4bolt is a great foundation to build a wicked motor. The four bolts are not really necessary unless you're going all out on performance, but it's nice to have anyway (mine's only a 2 bolt). If the car has no holes in it anywhere, buy it!
The Bird sounds good, too. I assume that it's a 5,7 TPI which is a good engine that can be modded fairly cheap for being EFI. Drawback is the weak rear end of the 3rd Generation. I'm sure Randy can tell you more about 3rd Geners than me, but I think it's a good price if it's in decent shape.

I wonder if this will ever lead to something ... now the car is gone from mobile.de ... :-/

Oh well .. found another one instead... 79 350 ... according to the VIN, it was also built as a 350 and is a Berlinetta ... rear axel has a minor problem, and the brakes are pulling to one side a bit ... only other problem is a dead battery, but he can supply one for a test drive ... I may go down there tomorrow morning and take a look & a ride ...
