apperently 320Hp at the wheels is the absolute limit a (strengthend) opel axle will stay together.. eventhough i have allways used only street tires.

i think i'm quite lucky it didn't break like roys..
the pinion axle was allso completely bend :shock:

JeeJee call Moser and give them the dimensions of your current axle housing and have them build you a 9in ford for it, you won't have to worry about breaking it then!!

Val, I think a 9 inch is perhaps a bit over the top :shock:

I've been looking at a 10 bolt but i don't really like c clips :?
i know you can get an eliminator kit for it, but i might be better of with perhaps a DANA.

there easy to come by here in europe (eg. volvo)
And parts are easy to get from summit

i only wonder if the european dana's are metric and the stuff from summit imerial ??

Better get a Dana while yo can GM just dropped them and I think they might be in trouble.
