apperently 320Hp at the wheels is the absolute limit a (strengthend) opel axle will stay together.. eventhough i have allways used only street tires.
i think i'm quite lucky it didn't break like roys..
the pinion axle was allso completely bend

JeeJee call Moser and give them the dimensions of your current axle housing and have them build you a 9in ford for it, you won't have to worry about breaking it then!! |

Val, I think a 9 inch is perhaps a bit over the top
I've been looking at a 10 bolt but i don't really like c clips 
i know you can get an eliminator kit for it, but i might be better of with perhaps a DANA. there easy to come by here in europe (eg. volvo) And parts are easy to get from summit i only wonder if the european dana's are metric and the stuff from summit imerial ?? |

Better get a Dana while yo can GM just dropped them and I think they might be in trouble. |
