Anyone here know where I can see what a set of 285s look like mounted on 17x11s? I am running 315s right now and getting ready to buy some new tires. Seems to be a hell of a lot more choices stepping down. Thanks in advance!

Isn't 285 a bit too slim for that wheel?

nahh, 275, 285 and 315 will fit a 17x11 according to most tire manufacturers I have researched. The million dollar question is how will it look though?

what about a 295? i've got 295s on a 10.5" wheel. Should look pretty close and there are a lot of options out there?

Not a lot of options for a 295/xx/17 that I have found, are you running 18s? 295s on 17s I have found so far are competition only.

Thanks Silas! Now I just have to decide wether or not to run a 285 or a 275 on a 17.9.5 (up front) Did you have to employ a BFH for your rears?

No BFH is required. I rolled mine anyways just for good measure.

I don't have my fenders rolled and do have 285's on my rear 10.5's It lloks much better than it did with the 275's back there.

On a side note...Does anyone have a fender rolling tool here in Germany?

Any body shop should have it. I'm getting mine rolled next time I get it detailed.
