Post subject:  "Special" Slalom in Bitburg?

I was wondering - how about holding an RC-slalom challenge in Bitburg some evening?

Hey that sounds good :).I can bring my Thunder Thiger Rc-Bike with me,but i think slalom is to early for me.Them Rc-Bikes are complettly different to drive.
But i bring it with me in 2weeks :).

Just took a look at my car - :wtf: - the antenna cable was in pieces, even the copper wires inside were broken / bitten through ... the damage look too small for a mouse or something ... guess I need to re-cable the thing ... anybody know whether the length of the antenna cable is relevant for RC usage? (I know it is for things like CB radio)

Um yes it is,
the longer the cable the better the reception

apparently the proper lenght depends on the wavelenght you use for the transmission....

but i once shortened the antenna due to a brakage from my rc car and it would still work but the max. reception distance was reduced to around 60% :?

I'll try to fix the antenna, and should have the car up for Bitburg ... may need to pick up some extra fuel, though ...
