F-bodies and Vettes have the same bolt patter for the wheels, but the f-body hub is just slightly (not so much that you would ever notice) larger. Why does this matter. Aftermarket wheels are usually made to fit all 3 so if they use an f-body hub, it'll work fine of the vettes and they can sell more wheels. This also means that wheel spacers are made with f-body size hubs. Why do I know all of this. I got good new tires for my OEM wheels and went to put them on the car last night only to find they didn't fit over the spacers hub.

:hammer:

I swear, if it wasn't for bad luck, I would have no luck at all.

I don't know about that I got Vette specific rims and they go on the hub quite nicely.

See you should get a F-body then and then the problems would be solved.

Are they OEM or aftermarket - both my Z06 and C4 GS wheels fit fine, but they're aftermarket replicas.

There is another guy that is running factory Corvette rims on his red Fbody also.

Keith are you sure its not just the spacer causing the problem?

yeah, the hub on the spacer is to big. That's the problem. It works with both of my aftermarket sets of wheels, but not the OEM wheels.
