Maybe one of you IT guys can help me... I have a "Linksys wireless-G ADSL Gateway 54 Mbps" that WiFi my laptop to the internet. I do live on the border of Ingolstadt's ADSL service (with potential downshift to ISDN). My system used to run stable, but lately it seems to regularly lose the internet connection, the ADSL led on the router would blink (instead of constantly lit) and it would take forever to reconnect (usually needing a power reset of the router). Question: Is T-Online having some problems with their service provision, or is my router playing silly bugger? Please help. |

Hard to tell -- usually, Telekom only hooks up DSL if the tech data is sufficient for a reliable connection. In contrast to Arcor, which often sell DSL to customers, just to find out later that it won't work (or not reliably). Have you checked with Telekom yet? Also, what speed do you usually have? If it's 786 or higher, the connection might slow down due to line quality but shouldn't break down completely. If you have DSL Light, probability is higher that additional customer lines used on the cable trunk might degrade quality ... |

Its TeleKom having fit with providing internet service. Call em up and complain. I Have been having problems this past week . Last night my email came in double. I am having to reset my router also. |
