Yup, LS1/LS2 would also be nice, or maybe an LS7? D@mn, 500 stock HP in a small car like that ...

Hot Rod Magazine put an LS7 in one with the help of GM Performance Parts. The testing was awesome. They compared it with the test data from the Z06, Porsche GT, and Lamborghini and it beat all of them. If I remember correctly in every test, including cornering g's, 1/4 mile, and braking. They didn't do the top speed.

Whoa .... Guess the top speed would have been a bit too much on suspension and brakes ...
Wonder what Opel will do for the german/european version next year (I think)

Don't know about the Opel, but the Solstice is supposed to have a supercharged version of the new 2.0 direct injection Ecotech. 260 HP. Should be a fun car.

It's turbocharged - which is a more efficient system. Car is a fresh breath of air from GM.
