first making some space :
plenty of space at the front. : enough for an intercooler for the future , much easier to incorporate now then make room at a later stage
general overview (don't mind the mess toomuch , it will clean up

the transmissiontunnel will be HUGE not really a pretty picture yet, i'll use this as a template, so i can make the final tunnel outside the car and use a little thicker sheetmetal then. not much space for the throttlepedal left. i might have to place the steering position 10cm further backwards inc. the pedals, steeringcolum , seat, etc..

i don't think it will be ready for the first meeting at bitburg. (i have a compressor ascona to build too you know for that purpose engine block is beeing bored and honed now, so i hope i can start the buildup in the next couple of weeks the ls1 manta car need a lot of work on the body too, so that will slow it down a lot allso (new doors, new sills , new wheelarches , new rear panel, etc..) and i think it will more of a highspeed comfortable cruiser and dragger and not so much an autoX |

well it is getting difficult to get the real led primer anti rust, but still some (boat) shops have some stock although they are not allowed to sell it anymore |
