Every one wants to know huh? Yes I made it home. Took about 6 hours to get home. Car is in k-town at Vogelweh. It is sitting outside the AAFES garage across the street from Taco Bell. Clutch was not strong enough to make the big hill between Manhiem to K-town. It's all good, ADAC hooked me up with the tow (40km), and a rental. |

Yes Scot this was sunday. We left about 5:00 pm and right away I was skeptical. I was able to keep 60-70 mph all the way until it started getting hilly (about 30km). Then she really wasn't doing good. At one point I slowed to 30 mph going up this shallow hill. Lets put it this way; if the clutch hadn't given out, the gas would have. I had to keep it in 2nd gear to maintain 50-55. Although it took a long time with ADAC, it was worth it because now I have a really fast civic. |

WOW A CIVIC!!!!! Can I have a ride???? That blows about the clutch... are you leaving it over there??? If you want I think i can get a trailer to tow it back over here.... |

Naw, I was going to do it in K-town anyway. Dave with the WS6 T/A is a mechanich at Ramstein and I think we can do it at his garage. We might still need the trailer because I don't think the car will get above 30. Deffinitely won't make any hills. |

Dave has his shop in Vogelweh/Kapaun. He is a dispatcher at a motorpool. It is not but maybe 1/2mile from your car to his shop. Just let me know when that clutch is here and we will get it knocked out..... |
