good thing i found it in time this was an accident waiting to happen
and this is supposed to be the strongest axle opel has got at least it does justice to my signature to bad the 10 bolt and 12 bolt chevy axles work with c-clips ? , i am really no big fan of those, otherwise it would be a nice candidate |

That or a Volvo axle assembly I believe a DANA 30 that comes in a rear drive Volvo of some earlier models. Just remember the Volvo model Dana 30 is metric while the Jeep version is SAE. |

i have been thinking about that too, but the dana30 is as weak as the commodore axle. ring and pinion diameters are quite simular 9 ich is perhaps a bit over the top though. and a jaguar is independant rear (irs) so that would allso be no option |
