If you let me drive it I PROMISE not to rip the shifter out. DP1, I can so see him dragging this behind a Q7 V10 TDi Quattro.

I'd be courious of how stable it is at high speed, that's a short wheelbase. If I remember right, it's about half as long as a typical sports racer.

The pics above is not mine.....

To answer your question: Yes, it's nearly finished. My welder left me hanging a bit (I can't / don't want to weld chromoly tubing). Next week he will weld the last 2 struts, then it's disassembly, off to the powdercoaters and re-assembly time. I found a local company that will do the exhaust system and I still have to wire up the fuel-injection. Then it's time to push the starter button and hold on for dear life......

He propably can, but I found a local shop who specializes in exhaust systems. This way I can just drop off the whole kart without driving across half of Germany.
