Just remember to thank America for having the balls and forsight to see the Autobahn for what it is and set aside imposed speed restrictions that were in effect prior to post war Germany. |

So did anyone attend the Ktown to Mainz Autobahn burner on A63? Rumour has that an undisclosed American made car while not the fastest vehicle out there in top speed was able to beat everything to the end . |

James It was from Sembach Exit to Nieder-Olm , about 56 kilometers. No body mentioned any times or any thing but it had to be a smoker . A lot of P-car , Ferrari, Lambo Bmw and what not couldn't or wouldn't hold a sustained speed for that distance. God bless America, Apple pie and ....... |

I know one morning at around 3am I went from Sembach to A60 in 22 min I think it was in the old E30 325i M-tech. I mashed it and never let off till I got to A60. That was the OLD A63 when it began at Sembach. I wonder if that american car guy had a video camera. I have gone 270kph in S3 on A63 before. That one stretch near Kirschheimbolanden really is too open for you to realize just how fast 270kph is. |

200k average ain't bad, though it doesn't sound that fast ... you would imagine a Porsche shouldn't have a problem doing that (or faster) ... what kind of speed limits are there? |

Garry How did you come up with a 200KPH average. That would be like my early Sunday morning cruise to Mannheim. |

56km in 17 min ... basic "Dreisatz" ... Code: x ~ 60 56 ~ 17 x = 60*56/17 = ~197km/h |

What sucks you could do higher speed in the states more safely. Semi's can travel faster in the states and the country roads could be used for THE fu(kING SPRINTER VANS, and slow vehicles. Yes there is some hate there for obvious reasons. |
