Somebody told me I can buy from Discount Tires or Tire Rack on-line and they will ship to an APO address. Is this true?

Also, where is a good, and reasonably priced, place to get tires installed in K-town?

Thanks.

I got mine from tirerack.com when I was over there. It takes about a week for them to get there.

There is a tire shop next to the Esso on the Opel circle in K-town that I always used. It was about 18 euro a tire for them to mount and balance and an alignment was ~80 done to my specs

I'm glad to hear they'll ship to us, it will definitely save some money.

Tirerack is where I have purchased about 4 sets over here. I have been getting mine mounted/balanced at the hobby shop without a problem.

Are you getting them mounted near the inspection place at Ramstein? I didn't know the hobby shop mounted tires.

No, I have been getting them mounted IN the Hobby shop near the flightline...hangar 5. It is the place that has the self-help and auto car washes. Pulaski will allow you to do it yourself most of the time.
