Anyone know of a decent local (Spang, Ramstein area) scrapyard? The rear window in my POS 95 Opel Astra wagon decided to shatter when I was driving it tonight. I think maybe something was wrong with the defroster. Nothing hit it, just went boom! Scared the hell out of my wife and I. I don't really want to pay to get the window replaced. I'm thinking I could just take the whole rear door off a similar car and make that work. Any info would be appreciated!

There is one good one (I've been told) in Trier, Luxemburgerstrasse. Auto Lieser, tel 0651-87070. You need a rear door for a 4door car? Which side? Guy is going over there today, he's going look/ask about it ...

It's the back door on a 95 Opel Astra wagon. Not one of the passenger doors, but the rear cargo door. Thanks for the help!

Manni said they should have that ... maybe you can just call the place first and tell them what you are looking for ...
