We had a great time at the Drag Power Show in Chambley France. I am still amazed to see so much NICE American muscle in Europe. Me, Silas and Mike (Mustang) caravaned there. Francis...(also from the board) rode along with me. He was instrumental in getting us in the right place once we got there. He did great translating when we needed it.
We got into the show absolutely free (since we were in American cars). They set us up in an exclusive American car row and even personally escorted us there. I will never forget the feeling of watching everyone in awww as we pulled in. The sound the smell of exhust and fuel...what could be better!?!
I would also have to say that the dragstrip looked pretty nice. They had tons of fan base that included full families in the stands! The only thing they were missing was a time board/display. So, we really don't know how fast anyone was running.
The best part is that none of us had any major problems. It was a smooth (LOUD) ride and a perfect day for a car show. It was well worth the trip. I just wish I could have made a few passes.
Somehow, I made it there and back to Ramstein on one tank. Amazingly managing 18.5 MPG with the 4.56's running anywhere from 70-150MPH. Silas....uhm, well...didn't quite make it that far on a tank.

There was A LOT of classic muscle in pristine condition too.
