For those of you in the Bitburg area (not sure how the rest of Germany was) tonight, you probably know it wasn't the best night to be on the roads in any car, let alone an F-body. I skipped my speech class tonight so I wouldn't have to drive home too late. I started off about 7pm, and didn't get home until almost 8. That drive usually takes me 15-20 minutes. The ass-end of the car didnt' want to stay put no matter how slow I went. I almost lost it getting off the autobahn onto the B-51. The fun was when I got to my street though. It took shoveling the snow off the street for me to be able to get enough traction to get to my driveway. That process took me 20 minutes. I realized too late that I shouldn't have been on the road, and thank god I made it home safe. I guess 300+ horsepower cars aren't made for the snow! :pat:

Sure they are made for the snow, you just have to have the proper shoes for snow.
Glad you made it home okay

Jeremy the roads were ridiculous last night..and this morning it's all gone! I was out and about last night (not by choice) and I was driving very very slowly.

I have M/S tires, trust me I wouldn't be out with drag slicks on. Nearly new tires with good tread, so nothing wrong there. Probably didn't help that the tank was almost empty, so I was a bit low on weight.

I think you need an old banger for winter. I've just bought one for €700 just so that my F-bodies can stay safe. Well worth it. Even with winter tyres I wouldn't take mine out in snow. Not alot of fun unless you find a big supermarket car park that's empty :D

D@mn, yet another 2in of snow, and that's just since 1800 ... :( Winter sucks, can somebody please cancel that serving of it and get Spring to come in fast?
