HISTORICAL VEHICLES:

There is now a procedure in place for procurement of Historical License
Plates:

1. You must take your vehicle to a German Vehicle Inspection Station (TÃœV or
DEKRA) depending upon which station will do the inspection and issue the certificate for Historical Vehicle status (Gutachten Für "H" Kennzeichen).

2. The total cost for this inspection will vary and can run between 90.00 to 150.00 EUR.

3. If your vehicle passes the inspection take your paper work to the local Vehicle Registration Office and request that Historical plate (s) be ordered for your vehicle. This will incur a registration fee of $30.00

Heck yeah it is. Where did you get the information? How old is the vehicle required to be? Please say 8 years or older qualifies! LOL.

For German H-tags it has to be 30+, in decent (and original) condition ...

Might help to stay out of trouble for driving into Umwelt-Zone areas without the stupid stickers ...
