Am I getting hosed or what? I called them to see if they split my nitrous package in to 2 shipments. Their reply was (after about 5 min) "no. it was all shipped together." So I tell them they didn't send me everything. They say now I have to go through the nightmare of trying to get insured mail to pay for the missing stuff. I'm thinking that will take forever with probably little to gain. My other option is to return it for a 15% loss on a $900 purchase. F#$%%$##$K.

Same problem here, I ordered BAER track-kit from Thunder Racing and it was shipped in two packages and one went missing. This was in the beginning of July - we have still heard nothing back from US Postal in response to our inquiry made two months ago and of course they will not pay the insurance out till there is any chance to find the missing package. Also Thunder Racing is not willing to order 1/2 kit from BAER, because if US Postal finds this package they will be sitting with 1/2 brake kit. Customer can wait, two months, three months...whatever. So much about much-praised excellent customer service of Thunder Racing.

That sucks. I have never had a problem with the customer service of Thunder Racing. Can't say I have had anything go missing either. Now Carparts.com on the other hand. Don't get me started with them!!!!!!!

I had the same problem with the USPS. I ordered some stuff from TR and Angie sent it out in 3 boxes. After about 3 weeks the first box shows up...so I'm like cool...the other 2 will be here shortly. LoL...
6 weeks later the other 2 boxes finally showed up!!! They were not misdirected or mis-shipped...the postal system is just completely FU(KED UP!!!

Had the package been opened when it got to you, or did it look like it was still sealed from IRS? If it looked like it was still sealed, I would get back with IRS and tell them that they didn't send everything and that it's not USPS' problem.

Sorry you had problems, but I still have yet to have any problems with either IRS or TR. As a matter of fact, I ordered some stuff Wed and it was here today.
I have had delays on getting things because of the USPS but never because of the vendors. Now, when they do drop shipments I've had hassles. The FLP's took about 2 months, because of delays.
As a rule, they usually dont update you unless you ask, but when you ask, they are for the most part very helpful.

I hear you on the carparts. I could tell you a whole lot of stories. It's been 4 months and I'm still waiting on gaskets. I had to cancel a clutch order after they kept backing up the shipping date. A month and a half later I quit. They Suc#!!!!!!

Yep. I'm still waiting on a set of blackout that I ordered back in January. They have given me the run around said they shipped them twice. Nothing. So I can believe any trouble you have had. That's why I have stuck with Thunder. Never had a problem getting anything and their service has always been great to me. And then the stupid stuff I get from JC Whitney. It may take a month Surface Freight, but it always gets here and if it doesn't they just send another shipment out, no questions!

Jesse you said JC Whitney. I throw them books in the trash because that is all I ever got from them. They send you reject parts that didnt pass QA. My opinion only.

That Jcwhitney and Carparts.com are now one. Jcwitney bought carparts.com. I called to check on my money they are supposed to give me my money back (no luck at all) They keep giving me the run around. I have to call them back next week. I bought a clutch from them they got there money but they never sent the part they just kept back dating it so I cancelled the order still no money and it was VISA easy to give back.

Well, they might have just been wrong about it only being one package. I still haven't recieved my clutch yet either. Been over a month now. I think the mail is running better in K-town than here.

Does me no good to get upset. Besides most days now are rainy and the roads around here are VERY dirty...
Get ready for next summer...396 will be reality...

I know most of the stuff from JC isn't great. It's usually alarms and cheap parts for other peoples cars. I wouldn't get anything for my car from them. Only the best.

Who said I was being patient? I am mad as hell. Wish I could fly to Houston just to put my foot up someones ass there at IRS!! Don't even get me started about usps and the military mail. They used to have deliveries every day just about on 40' trailers. Now all I see is small panel vans.

They still have the 40' trailers. They usually come in late in the evening, unload and leave.
